Ask the Experts: Grief as Part of the Journey into Parenthood

Entering into parenthood is a life transition which includes the loss of our pre-baby identity.  We encounter losses of varying levels frequently throughout our lifetimes, and often these losses are accompanied by grief. Grief specialist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker Jodie Gonzalez will help guide us through a gentle discussion about the impact of grief and helpful ways to support ourselves and others following loss. Our hope is that this session will open the door to further conversations about grief and loss, which is an inevitable part of the human experience, but especially relevant in current times.
